Six Sentence Bonus Sunday WIP Menage & Updates

So - a little over a week ago I was fretting over a supervisor visit at work. Actually, all of us who are managers were. It was just one of those things where you KNEW something was up, and could come up with fifteen different scenarios from mundane to horrifying as to what it might be. Oddly, we weren't able to accurately predict the exact reason for the visit, but I did end up getting one of the aspects correct. The one pertaining to me.

In a move that is sadly reminiscent of many companies these recent years, there was a restructuring that eliminated several manager positions within the company - mine included - and I was offered either severance or to step down from manager to assistant manager. Hmmm. The irony was that it was the exact thing that my husband and I had discussed recently to help free up my time for more writing, and I had considered it a possiblily as well because of concerns about what was going on at work. My writing career at this point is headed in the exact direction I want it, but that also means a much heavier demand on my time that doesn't just include the initial writing, but working with my editor, promos, rewrites, blogging, etc.

When I was given this bit of news, my first reaction was "Wow - I could buy a new car with that severence!" But then I'd probably have to live in it, and well, I'd rather have my little writing area, ya' know? So, I elected to keep my job and step down, which had been the eventual plan anyway. The key word in that sentence however was "eventual". As in not right now. Because lower position = lower pay. So guess what? I'd better start writing my ass off! Now if only the credit card companies would get out of my (and your) head, and let me write and read without censorship. More updates on that later today, my pretties.

So in the spirit of plowing full speed ahead with my writing, I did get another 5,000 words into my ghosthunter menage this week, which now has a title: "Ghost Reservations For Three". It was originally going to be an MMF menage short story, but I've been really enjoying getting into the whole ghosthunting aspect of it, so it looks like it's going to be more of a novella. Don't despair, there is still some scorchingly hot action too, so in celebration of my new journey to focus more on my writing, I am including a bonus six sentences. The first set of six will be from Carolyn's first experience investigating a haunt with the two sexy brothers, Kyle and Drew. The brothers have been offered their own network cable series, and Carolyn was chosen from several candidates to join their investigating team.

She headed towards where she thought the recorder had fallen, and that was when she saw it. A looming dark shadow, almost identical to what she pictured in her head when the client had described it. It was right in front of her, and where the recorder had landed. Unable to move or to speak, she just stared. The walkie was crackling to life at her hip where it was fastened, and she could hear Kyle's voice.

"Carolyn! Take a picture – it's right in front of you. Hurry!"

And because it just wouldn't be my blog without some hot action, here is a little taste from Carolyn and Kyle's first hook up.

"What the..."

The cold tip of a large vibrator brought her to attention. It was so intense, she wasn't sure her overworked cunt and clit could handle it. He moved around her entire crotch area, making sure not to settle on one place for more than a few seconds. Her inner walls were swelling in response to the stimulation, and now she felt his fingers moving through her folds, as his other hand moved the vibrating instrument around her tender places. This was the best yet.

Phew, I need to get back to this one. I think Kyle's brother Drew is really missing out, and needs to get in on the fun!
